Our Guide

A Destination Management Company in Hokkaido Specializing in Special Interest Travel

Sapporo is the vibrant capital of Hokkaido, Japan’s northernmost island. Known for its wide streets, beautiful parks, and relaxed atmosphere, the city offers a unique blend of urban culture and natural beauty.

Unlike many historic Japanese cities, Sapporo was developed in the late 19th century, which gives it a modern and spacious layout. Visitors can enjoy seasonal attractions throughout the year, from the world-famous Sapporo Snow Festival in winter to lush green parks and beer gardens in summer.

The city is also a gateway to Hokkaido’s spectacular nature. Within a short distance from downtown, travelers can reach mountains, hot springs, and national parks. Sapporo is equally famous for its food culture, including fresh seafood, miso ramen, and locally brewed Sapporo beer.

Whether you are exploring lively shopping districts, relaxing in nearby onsen towns, or discovering Hokkaido’s culinary scene, Sapporo provides a perfect starting point for your journey in northern Japan.
